Hollywood Hampton productions : " Strictly for the creatives"
ABOUT THE
FOUNDER/ CEO

LAUREN A. HAMPTON , CEO and Founder of Hollywood Hampton Productions LLC—affectionately known as “Hollywood Hampton”—is a dynamic Senior Creative Producer, Digital Director, and Executive Producer. Lauren's versatile expertise spans crafting creative content for digital streaming platforms to orchestrating captivating “Big Shiny Floor Shows,” which is, quite honestly, the most humble way to sum up her stellar credentials, reputation, and experience.. But you can never truly "sum up a creative."

If there’s a story to be told, Lauren’s the one to bring it to life with style, strategy, and a little bit of secret sauce.
An East Coast girl at heart (Jersey Girl, to be exact), Lauren grew up dreaming of the big city and bright lights. She auditioned for AMDA in NYC (despite not hitting a single Beyoncé note) and got in!, but ultimately chose the illustrious Clark Atlanta University. Inspired by Spike Lee’s School Daze and Debbie Allen’s A Different World, she embraced the HBCU experience and initially majored in Theater Arts with dreams of landing a guest role on Moesha. (Because let’s be real, Brandy was THAT girl in the ‘90s.) But when Shakespeare showed up talking about “thou” and “thee,” Lauren made thee pivot to Speech Communications, with a minor in Radio, TV, and Film—firmly planting her in the world of media.
In true Hollywood fashion, Lauren moved to Los Angeles one year after graduation with just $500 and a dream on her vision board. Her first gig was The Test, a wild daytime talk show best described as the love child of Maury and Jerry Springer, produced by Dr. Phil’s son, Jay McGraw. And boy, did it test her creativity, stamina, drive, and endurance. During the interview process, the Executive Producer asked her one simple question: “Are you ready to NOT have a life?” She soon found out exactly what that meant—12+ hour days, 7 days a week, and her first power bill totaling a whopping $6.97. Her life now belonged to production.
Lauren had moved to her dream city (one that had a starring role on her senior-year vision board) for a three-month gig with zero promises. Lots of patience and prayers got her through. This whirlwind experience eventually led to her landing a position as a researcher at The Dr. Phil Show, where she contributed to three seasons of the iconic daytime talk show, honing her skills in content creation, research, and production that would prove invaluable throughout her career.
Fast forward 12 years, and here’s what she’s accomplished:
With 12 years in production and a growing legacy in digital media since 2016, Lauren’s recent achievements include Producing the weekly Netflix live format show Live From the Other Side with Tyler Henry the Hollywood Medium, a second-of-its-kind format, being a producer and writer on the comedic court show Ms. Pat Settles It (2024, season 2),She also worked with Angela Bassett (airing in 2025), as well as on digital formats in conjunction with their print publications.

HAMPTON was named Creative Producer for Issa Rae’s HOORAE Media, where she spearheaded the launch of the 2022 Black And Unlimited Digital Development Program: Creator Courses presented by Walmart. Lauren was tasked to curate, produce, and direct four creator courses centered around cameras, lighting, audio, and editing—a "masterclass" to support Black creators as they share their content and aim to reach new audiences.
Her 2024 portfolio shines brightly, with highlights including talent-producing music videos for Toosii, Muni Long and Gunna (with 3 consecutive collabs in 2024). Directing vertical video content for, Zendaya, Post Malone, and Nicole Kidman, and helming branded campaigns with BOOHOOMAN x GUNNA, and Rakuten x Elaine Weltertoth (Founder of The Birth Fund, former EIC of Teen Vogue). She also directed the red carpet activation for InStyle Magazine's first annual ImageMaker Awards.
Lauren’s body of work also encompasses development projects with LeBron James’ The SpringHill Co., and e-commerce shoots for The South James Agency, where she collaborated with global brands such as Eye Buy Direct, Sony, and Del Real Tacos.
Throughout her career, Lauren has produced an array of renowned shows and events, from Emmy Award-winning daytime talk shows like Judge Judy, Divorce Court, TMZ Live, Paternity Court, Couples Court, and The Real. To captivating competition series, live award ceremonies and game shows : [Game Show Network’s] America Says: Season 3, FOX’s hit series The Masked Singer and I Can See Your Voice, Lip Sync Battle Shorties, the BET Awards, and festival productions like Essence Festival (My Black Is Beautiful), and Complex-Con hosted by Buzzfeed + Complex Networks. In 2024 contributed to the production of 1% Club , a mind-bending game show on Prime Video that challenges contestants' logic and reasoning skills as a Contestant Producer.

HAMPTON also boasts an impressive nine-year tenure as a freelance Video Director/Producer, creating short-form and vertical video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook Watch, and YouTube. She’s collaborated with publications like ELLE Magazine, Harper's BAZAAR, Men’s Health Magazine, Esquire Magazine, Cosmopolitan, InStyle Magazine, Town & Country, and the relaunch of SEVENTEEN Magazine (ahhh, my inner teen is bursting with pride and joy!).

In 2020, Lauren took on her first role as Executive Producer at Kin Community, overseeing standout shows like All Things Adrienne with Emmy Award-winning host Adrienne Bailon Houghton and Side by Side featuring twin sisters Malika and Khadijah Haqq-McCray.

Lauren stands firm on her self-proclaimed motto(s) "Work Ethic Makes The Dream Epic” but most importantly "I signed an NDA" because confidentiality is of paramount importance.
